Terms of Service
Last updated: May 13, 2026
These terms cover your use of Honey Bun — the iOS app, the Alexa skill, and the website. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to what's below. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
What Honey Bun is
Honey Bun is a personal-use tracker for infant care — feedings, diaper changes, medicine doses, and related caregiver activities. It is a record-keeping convenience, not a medical service.
Honey Bun is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Nothing the app says, calculates, summarizes, or generates is medical advice. For any health concern about you or your child, consult a licensed pediatrician. Do not delay seeking medical care because of anything Honey Bun showed you.
Your account
You need an account to use Honey Bun. You can create one by signing in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping access to your authentication provider secure — if someone else gets into your Apple ID or Google account, they will be able to reach your Honey Bun data.
You may share access to a single Honey Bun account between caregivers (for example, two parents) so that both see the same logs. By signing in on a shared account, both people agree to these terms.
Acceptable use
Use Honey Bun only for legitimate personal or family infant-care tracking. You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems, or circumvent any security feature.
- Scrape, automate, or otherwise interact with our servers outside the intended app experience.
- Upload content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, or that infringes another person's rights.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially distribute the service.
AI assistant and voice features
The in-app AI assistant and voice features (including Alexa) generate responses based on your logged data and the content of your messages. Those responses are produced by a third-party language model and may be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Use your own judgment, and never substitute the assistant's answers for medical advice. We're not liable for decisions you make based on AI-generated content.
Your data
How we handle the data you create in Honey Bun is described in our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of the content you log; you grant us a limited license to host, transmit, and display it back to you and your linked caregivers as needed to operate the service.
Service availability
We aim to keep Honey Bun running reliably, but we make no guarantee of uptime, latency, or specific functionality. Features may change, be removed, or be temporarily unavailable. We may perform maintenance or push updates that briefly interrupt service.
Termination
You can stop using Honey Bun at any time. To remove your account and all of your data, open the app → Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, that we reasonably believe are being used for fraud or abuse, or where required by law.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Honey Bun is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Honey Bun, its operator, and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or business interruption arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months (which is currently zero) or $50 USD.
Apple App Store
If you obtained the Honey Bun iOS app through Apple's App Store, you also agree to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or its support; however, Apple is a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
Changes
We may update these terms over time. If a change is material, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and notify you in the app the next time you open it. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
